Does anyone still ready this blog? Rambling

Ok I know it has been allllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggg time since I have done much of anything on here but MAN it has been busy and I haven't had the attention span to do anything on here...so while I type this my girls are doing something upstairs that require chairs to be scooted across the floor...should I go check....oh hum.

One of my pesky brother in laws gives me a bad time about not let him know what is going on with his nephew and nieces...he could call and ask...or he could come visit more....or or or....ok this is what is going on around here:

I started working at the Turbine Mart about 10 hours a week starting the first of March...I did have to put about twice that for the first two months...Caleb finished up school on schedule but Emily still wishes to do some school so we have been fitting some in here and there to satisfy her knowledge bone...plus I know what she is doing for that moment. Samantha likes to join us at the table for a coloring time and mimics Emily saying her numbers and letters which infuriates Emily because you lost concentration...it is a very fun time. :) Lance has been busy with work, going on ambulance calls and mowing the yard, and do the various house repair jobs that need done here and at his mothers.

This week we spent 4 days cooking at Camp Witness of which Caleb attend also this week. It was somewhat fun...but very exhausting too. So today when I should be getting ready for the next run of events I am sitting here. This afternoon my mom and I will heading to Winner, SD for a scrap book retreat and come home on Saturday afternoon....can I scrap book all night long....we will see. Then there is a wedding of some dear friends that will take place on Saturday evening...looking forward to it but feel like I am on the run...and if you know me well at all this isn't something I like at all....things have to be a slow comfortable pace to be enjoyable...how did this all come to be on one week...uuggghh!!! I then also start back to work on Sunday morning 6 am to 8 am then home to get ready for church ... don't call Sunday afternoon....I am sleeping.

Hopefully this is the only extremely busy two weeks (VBS the week before) I will have this week. I need to get back to the gardening before I am kicked out of it by Marge, got to do my share of the work.

Hope this helps you all who are curious what we have been doing...of course this isn't all but there hasn't been a slow moment since school has gotten out.

Another week down

Wow, this week went really fast. Not sure I have accomplished much this week or not but it is almost over. As a blessing to day I don't have to go to North Platte this next week, YAHOO!!! This is the week of Sammy's and Grandma Blanche's Birthday party on Friday...way to much is going to not be here. I would hate to miss it.

Tomorrow night Lance and I are going to a Valentine's Banquet at the High School that the Community Youth Group is putting on. They are serving dinner and then showing the movie Fireproof. I am excited this is Caleb's first youth event. They are raising money to help those who are going to Dare to Share, don't much about that but Caleb isn't going either. The rest of the money if there is any left over is suppose to go to towards the youth center that use to be the Turtle Butte Lodge here in town. The build had a fire in it about a year ago and the guy gave it to my Uncle Russell to make into a place for the youth.

Well it is getting to the time I am really ready to put the kids to bed so I can enjoy some quiet time alone. So I better get that done not to mention I still have to make my bed. Love clean sheets but hate to make it.

What a week!!!

Haven't posted since last week so thought I should at least say something or allot of nothing.

It has been a very busy week but a wonderful week. The weather has been wonderful of which I have extremely enjoyed. Went for walks I think almost everyday but one. My van is clean inside and out. I love getting a clean van...even the oil is now clean :).

One day Marge and I worked on her photo albums...that is fun to look back and see how the kids have grown in just two years. There was one picture that I just marveled at, my girls were probably around the ages of 2 1/2 and then Samantha would be under 1 someplace in this picture. They were both sitting on Marge's couch in Gregory, they were so round faced it was cute. Emily most certianly looked like a toddlor and Sammy still was babyish looking. I said I wished I could reach through and hold them just as they were in that picture. The picture album we are working on is in 2007 which is the year that Harry pasted away so there are lot of memories in those pictures. We spent allot time with Marge that year and it has change much. We still spend allot of time together. We did allot together this week...I mentioned to Marge that we sure spent allot of time together this week and thought it was because the weather was so nice. She thinks we inspire each other when we work together in getting things done.I do very much enjoy the relationship I have with my mother-in-law. Well I know I have enjoyed this week very much. It was even more wonderful when I know I don't have to go to North Platte to the District Court as a juror. Please pray I don't have to go the next week, Feb 15-20, that is the week that is Samantha's and Great Grandma Blanche's Birthday. I don't want to miss their birthdays. I am hoping to have a dinner in their honor on their birthday the 20th. Grandma doesn't know about it or that my brother is coming home for it. So this month is busy busy busy. But I wouldn't want it any other way. I love my family and do enjoy serving them.

I am hoping to do a post on Samantha since it is her birthday in a few week. I want to post some pictures of her in the three years that she has been with us, so stay tuned. :)

Jumping for Joy!!!

I am relieved that I don't have to go to North Platte tomorrow afternoon so I can serve as a juror in the Federal court system. But I do have to call every Friday until the 6th of March. So now I will be on pins and needles on Friday again next week. I won't mind going for the experience of it and the learning factor but that sure does add to the "list" of things that have to be done before I go and the extra work for those who are taking over what I have been doing.

"A thing well planned is a thing half done."

It was asked if "A thing well planned is a thing half done." is true. I would really have to agree with that. I have put things on my list of things to do for the day and believe or not they are all done before I go to bed at night. I even have had time to do those things I love to do that isn't attached to house cleaning, homeschooling, and child care. Stamping!!!! Blogging!!! And my house is noticeable cleaner and I feel better about myself. I am hoping in the weeks ahead with the possibility of having to be gone for a week or two during the next month this will also work.

So I must say that the statement "A thing well planned is a thing half done" even if it is from Louis L'amour it is a very well said statement. Maybe that is why he wrote so many wonderful books. (I have never read his books but from a few people who have read them I have come to that assumption.)
